At approximately 01:48hrs units were dispatched to assist the Fresno FD with a commercial structure fire to rear of the Arcola PD facility on Mc Keever Rd.. Upon arrival of MCFRS Engine 34 (OIC Sabrsula) heavy fire was evident from a 1 story commercial structure and fire attack operations initiated with Battalion 31 (Wheeler) establishing command and Engine 31 assigned search group. Upon arrival of Quint 22 (OIC M. Ricks) the assignment of assisting Engine 34 with fire attack was given while the Chauffeur assisted with water shuttle operations along with SLFD Engine 3, whose crew was assigned as the R.I.T. Group. Under the direction of  SLFD Battalion 1 (Wooley) as Water Supply Group, companies shuttled water from the  closest hydrant in the Teal Run subdivision until the arrival of Pearland Tanker 42. With the fire knocked down and initial overhaul compled, Quint 22 returned  to service at approximately 03:38hrs.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fort Bend County Fire Marshal's Office.
