At approximately 04:45hrs on a very, very foggy morning units were dispatched to assist the Richmond Fire Department with a residential structure fire in far western Fort Bend County. While still enroute, radio reports indicated a working fire in a very large, estate size house in the exclusive gated community off of FM359; an area with no hydrants. While still  enroute companies on  scene achieved a good knock down on the fire and requested Tower 22 (OIC M. Ricks) back-in to Richmond Station #3 until some units could return to service. Arriving shortly thereafter, personnel began to look over Richmond  Tower 11 which had been aquired only a few months ago. While looking it over personnel noticed an image on the bottom side of the platform...the universal symbol for the cartoon and television superhero Batman. Finding this awefully coincidental given Tower 22 has had the Superman  logo on the bottom side of the platform since being placed into service, personnel photographed this obvious attempt at copying the concept behind the Tower 22 logo.

A big pat on the back for  the effort in "borrowing" the idea but everyone knows there can only be 1 superhero on the  block.

But as they say.. imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
