Early this morning department personnel joined others in Wharton, Texas to pay their respects to Wharton FD Captain Thomas Araguz III. Just one week prior Captain Araguz was tragically killed operating at the multi-alarm fire at Maxim Egg Co. in Boling, Texas.
During the service various speakers recalled their relationships and experiences with Captain Araguz thoughout his life including family, friends and co-workers. Following the services the apparatus procession wound throughout Wharton enroute to the grave site.
