As lunch time drew close units were dispatched as part of the MCFRS box to 514 Fawnwood for the reported residential structure fire. With the arrival of Quint 33 (OIC Male) a 1-story SFD was found with heavy fire thru the roof. Given the extent of fire and exposures on both Side "B" and "D" defensive operations were initiated using  the ladder pipe from Quint 33 while lines were stretched for exposure protection. Upon arrival of Battalion 31 (Matthews)  the assignment to set-up for ladder pipe operations on Side "A" was given to Quint 22 (OIC J. Brownson) . While the Chauffeur was setting the apparatus and nurse line being  established a good knockdown was achieved by Quint 33 and Quint 22 re-assigned  to assist on Side "C" with an additional handline. Upon structural stability being assessed, Quint 22 was re-assigned as Search Group and conducted secondary searches with negative findings. Upon completion of assignments Quint 22 returned to service after approximately an hour on the fire ground.
